The first step in this direction was appointing Souvagya Mohapatra as MD for India, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Mohapatra has already hit the ground running. The Webinar attended by Eminent Industry Leaders from across the Country discussed the implications of the disruption caused by the pandemic and also contemplated the road ahead for the tourism and hospitality sector.

Underscoring the fact that these sectors were the first to be impacted by COVID-19 outbreak and would probably be the last one to come out of it, Mr. Mohapatra impressed upon the need for a concerted effort by all stakeholders of the industry that is required to tide over this crisis while also emphasizing the dire need of an effective and timely policy intervention to help Industries stand back on their feet.
