Shri Mohapatra addressing the event spoke on the Tourism Potential of North-East and Eastern India and on contribution of Mayfair Hotels & Resorts in promoting the overall Tourism of these regions by establishing State-of-the-art Luxury properties. While suggesting measures that need to be undertaken for the expeditious and comprehensive development of this part of India, he underscored how MAYFAIR encourages guests to meaningfully engage with the Local Culture, Cuisines & Customs keeping in mind the larger object of Tourism promotion. Thoroughly congratulating the EHTTOA for organizing the event he said that such events go a long way in promoting the tourism of a destination. Further, he spoke on how MAYFAIR in its constant pursuit to develop North-East and Eastern India’s Travel and Tourism Landscape will be establishing a Majestic Tea Resort in Siliguri which will be the Country’s First Boutique Tea Resort viz. Mayfair Tea Resort, Siliguri that will take benchmark of Tea tourism to new levels.
